Welcome to the School of Channelling!

In 1991, the respected channel Tony Neate became aware that the old forms of trance, where mediums were completely taken over by the guide, were no longer suitable for the Aquarian age - it has to be more of a collaboration now - and so, he and his wife Ann established the School of Channelling at Runnings Park near Great Malvern to enable students to train in and investigate these more subtle forms of communication between the worlds. Courses are also held in London.

What is Channelling?

Channelling occurs when a different level of consciousness is brought through a human mediator. It can be a profound expression of a creative gift, as when Mozart wrote his symphonies or when Einstein revealed his theory of relativity, but it could just as easily come though a kind word that changes the life of a friend for the better. However, channelling is not confined to those with allegiance to the light, it was seen in a powerful and destructive way when Hitler swayed the masses towards war.

It is also possible to channel what we recognise as a higher independent consciousness and there have been many instances of this over the ages, Daedalus when he spoke through Socrates in Ancient Greece, the Christ consciousness overshadowing Jesus as he performed his healing miracles and, in recent times, there have been The Tibetan who transmitted an extensive body of teaching through Alice Bailey, and the guiding mind which motivated Eileen Caddy to set up the influential Findhorn Community in Northern Scotland, and many more who have left behind deeply inspired legacies.

To channel the subtle realms of consciousness requires us to refine our intuition, liberate our imagination, and develop a balanced, sensible attitude to those who approach from the inner worlds. It requires flexibility, and openness to new ideas and the ability to direct precisely focussed thought into constructive avenues of expression. How subtle, how enlightening, how influential this can be is determined by the purity of our motives and how ready we are to discipline our wayward minds. A high degree of self-honesty is required when dealing with any resistance to these forms of higher intelligence coming through us.

How Channelling Works and the Benefits of Channelling

Channelling starts with meditation and progresses deeper into personal exploration. But it is more than this; it offers very real benefits that touch every aspect of our lives. As we learn to empower our own intuitive mind, we express ourselves more freely and access our creativity and find meaning, direction and fulfilment in life. The resultant confidence adds to our sense of well-being.

Channelling can empower us to stand in our own truth and be in charge of our own lives. Different people will achieve deeper levels of connection and varying levels of benefit, but most graduates of the school talk about heightened awareness and an increased sensitivity to discovering how we may care for the world around us and make a real difference to it.

Those who have studied Channelling at our School have discovered a reassuring affirmation of their own creativity and intuitive abilities.

It is a practical way of connecting consciously with our intuition and inspiration, enabling us to enhance our sense of the world around us and our creativity.

But while channelling can be a powerful psychic/spiritual exercise, it is often a route to uncovering some hitherto undiscovered talent, and in particular those that are traditionally perceived as being highly creative.

Amongst the past students of the School of Channelling many have unleashed latent talents. Some have discovered an ability to become artists and to writers. Others have found that the increased awareness has enabled them to find new dimensions in whatever aspect of life they are involved. A public speaker discovered his true “voice” and a businessman grasped an intuitive understanding of the stock market so that he found that he no longer needed to read the Financial Times daily, word for word. These are just a few of the talents students have discovered through the channelling process.
